Anthony Salcito, Vice President, Worldwide Eduction - Microsoft

In his role leading the worldwide execution of Microsoft’s vision for education, Anthony Salcito works to help empower educators and inspire students to achieve more. He aims to transform the way we learn with the support of the best technology to help build critical skills for the modern, global workplace. Since July 2018, Anthony has also been leading Microsoft’s all up Public Sector Industry and Government Industry in interim capacity. In this role, Salcito is responsible for execution of Microsoft’s vision for Public Sector, including Government, Health and Education.

Prior to taking the role of Vice President, education in 2009, Salcito was general manager of education in the United States, supporting schools and universities across the country. During this time, he helped launch the company’s cornerstone education programs. He was also at the center of Microsoft’s involvement in the creation of the School of the Future – a pioneering partnership with the School District of Philadelphia and now the first of many Microsoft Showcase Schools around the world.

Salcito spent his early years at Microsoft architecting high profile product launches for Windows NT and Windows 95. He is involved with a variety of outreach projects; has served on the board of directors for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Western Governors University, Stevens Institute of Technology WebCampus, and currently serves on the boards of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and the European Foundation for Management Development.

With a belief that educators will forever be the heroes of the classroom, Salcito authors Daily Edventures (, which highlights the inspiring stories of educators, students, education thought leaders and school leaders from around the world. He has also helped author a book on Education Transformation which serves as a reference guide for schools looking to drive innovation to enhance student outcomes.


Ben Brown, Head of Schools, Academies and FE  - XMA

Ben has been working in education technology for the past 18 years, it was almost destined to happen with his parents being teachers. During that time he managed the UK education business for HP prior to the split and set up Samsung’s K-12 business in the UK. Now working at XMA he is responsible for delivering an unbiased view on technology in Schools, MATs and Colleges across the UK looking to solve the challenges of budget, workload and teacher retention. Wanting to understand the people he works with daily he is also a Trustee on the David Ross Education Trust board as the Digital and Innovation lead.


Pete Koczera, Senior Manager of Education Strategy & Transformation - CDW

As Senior Manager of Education Strategy & Transformation at CDW•G, Pete Koczera leads a team of educators and experts helping CDW•G’s customers succeed in implementing and managing the modern learning environment. In this role, he leads CDW•G’s efforts to stay ahead of the education market, with an emphasis on technology ready to scale in both K-12 and higher education. Special focus areas include people-centric design, sustainability, and emerging technologies. Koczera began his career with CDW in 2004, and joined the CDW•G team, serving education, government and healthcare providers, in 2013.


Robert Terhalle, Sales Manager - Heutink

Robert has been working for over 11 years at Heutink ICT. First as a project lead, then as team lead for the tender department, then over the last couple of years as a sales manager and part of the Heutink ICT Management team. Heutink ICT is market leader in The Netherlands when it comes to IT and Education in the K-12 vertical. Besides this they also have a footprint in higher education and universities. They serve around 2800 schools with IT solutions (software and hardware), training and onboarding. The main goal of Heutink ICT and Robert is to help their customers with not only buying and implementing IT but actually using it (even more) in the classroom. Heutink ICT is part of the ODIN Group. ODIN is a group of specialised IT company based in the east of The Netherlands. ODIN as a total has around 450 employees. Heutink ICT around 150.


Adrian Godfrey, Vice President, Portfolio Strategy & Partnerships - Pearson

Adrian joined Pearson in 2015 and leads a team supporting Pearson’s digital transformation through Strategic Partnerships. Working between Strategy, Product, Technology and Business development, Adrian’s team broker mutually beneficial commercial relationships with digital organisations, from large technology enterprises to EdTech startups. Prior to joining Pearson, Adrian enjoyed a 13-year career at Cisco Systems and on leaving was a Director of Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG), consulting on public sector reform at the intersection of technology and processes, with a personal focus on Education, Skills development and Employability. Adrian is a keen supporter of Youth led development and is a Trustee of Digital Opportunity Trust (Dot) UK.


Andrew Ko, Managing Director, Global Education and Workforce, WW Public Sector - Amazon Web Services

Andrew is the Managing Director of Global Education and Workforce at Amazon Web Services. His focus is driving innovation and workforce development by increasing adoption of cloud-based programs and solutions in the US and internationally. He leads transformation at state and country-levels, helping create the next generation of learners and innovators.
