Pro AV Collaborative 2024 to debut at Barcelona's world-leading ISE exhibition

For the first time ever, Pro AV Collaborative will be held in the beating heart of the ISE conference on the 31st January 2024, 4 - 6 pm. As attendees of the world’s largest AV tradeshow rove the halls of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía, those who have signed up for Pro AV Collab will be absorbing the insights shared in conference room CC4.1.

Chris McIntyre-Brown, Managing Director at Futuresource Consulting, commented: “We’re delighted to announce that Pro AV Collaborative will take place in the thick of ISE. We’ve recently nailed down a fantastic array of topics that will get to the heart of the conversations permeating the pro AV landscape. We're certain our event will provide extra value to those attending ISE.”

Futuresource research guides event agenda

The event will feature a host of thought-provoking panels and presentations from Futuresource Consulting’s leading analysts and external industry experts. Informed by emerging trends and roadblocks, topics will include an evaluation of the MicroLED sector, the smart workplace of the future, the convergence of video production and pro AV, as well as the transforming AV business model.

“Our agenda and speaker line-up hits all the key touchpoints across the landscape. We’re excited to welcome an influential audience to join us in dissecting the data and outlook for these burgeoning sectors.”

The agenda for the event is as follows:

4.00 pm - 4.15 pm | Welcome to Pro AV Collaborative
Introduction to Futuresource’s ISE 2024 event and a zoom-out of the industry. How has the pro AV sector evolved over the last twenty years, and how will this shape what’s to come?

4.20 pm - 4.45 pm | True MicroLED revolution: an industry at inflection point
MicroLED is poised to disrupt the world of displays, and for good reason: the technology is undoubtedly a leap forward in image quality, with ASPs on par with flat panel displays. But what are the roadblocks hindering mass production? How will the technology coexist within the current ecosystem?

4.50 pm - 5.15 pm | The convergence of video production and the world of AV
Organisations across all verticals are now embracing video content creation. After a surge in demand catalysed by the pandemic, how does the industry transform this elevated interest in professional video technology into more sustainable ongoing business?

5.20 pm - 5.45 pm | The intelligent workplace
The pandemic demonstrated the need for digital, dynamic, integrated workplaces, but uncertainty over the return to the office continues to reign. How should workspaces change to best suit hybrid workflows? How will AV and IT combine to create the smart workplace of the future?

5.50 pm – 6.15 pm | As-a-service & managed services: transforming the AV business model
For pro AV, differentiation potential lies within software and platform capabilities. Vendors are opening their APIs for higher interoperability and connectivity – something the industry has long grappled with – and the SaaS and PaaS landscape will shift rapidly to reflect these changes. As software and cloud-enabled services emerge as a market, increased value for AV clients is on the horizon. But first, the industry must overcome some significant hurdles.

6.15– 6.20 | Closing remarks

Pro AV Collaborative will help industry professionals make sense of these changes so that they’re better equipped to seize opportunities when they arise,” says Mcintyre-Brown. “With ISE entering its 20th year, it feels like the perfect moment to debut Pro AV Collaborative.”
