Furthermore, Futuresource expects a new wave of market entrants and as the competition intensifies, there is a chance of an additional market shifts and battles for ownership and control. In overseas markets, localised operations, branding and after-sales service are increasingly important to drive sales performance.

Anthony Brennan, Market Analyst at Futuresource Consulting was next onto the stage, discussing trends around the ‘hot topic’ of collaboration in the corporate meeting room space. The session assessed the potential for LED as a replacement for projection and LCD technology, whilst also providing the audience with market research from the Futuresource collaboration suite of reports which covers team collaboration displays, wireless presentation solutions and video conferencing solutions.

“As LED displays enter the corporate market, they will make an impact on the existing equipment, such as projectors,” added Brennan. “Indeed, international companies such as Facebook and Coca-Cola have already started to use LED displays in their conference rooms.”

Haihong (Hope Lee) Lee, Senior Market Analyst at Futuresource, went on to host two panel discussions. Speakers in the penultimate panel include Chung-Ta Tsai, Macroblock and Zechun Liang, Osram.
