Desktops have been a fixture of schools ICT strategies for many years with adoption in both PC Labs and for back-office purposes in common. K-12 education investments in computing devices across the globe are rising as governments and schools realise the potential for technology in developing 21st century teaching styles. But mobility solutions are increasingly being prioritised reducing the demand for desktop product which is largely reliant on the replacement cycle to drive volume.
