Theunis Scheepers, Country Manager, Alexa Voice Services - Amazon
Theunis is the Country Manager for the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) in the UK, a service that enables device makers to integrate Alexa directly into connected products. He’s been with Amazon for just over six years and previous to this role launched the Amazon Beers, Wines and Spirits business in the UK. Prior to Amazon, Theunis worked for the Home Retail Group and Fosters Group.
Shan Eisenberg, Commercial Director - Netgem UK
Shan is now currently the Commercial Director at Netgem, where his focus is to grow the distribution of Netgem TV products within telecom operators, service providers and more recently direct-to-consumer channels. He has held positions with EE as Head of Home Broadband and TV Propositions, including the GTM Lead for the launch of EE TV in the UK. He has also held senior positions at Cable&Wireless.
Joel Sietsema, SVP of Brand Management - Sound United
Joel Sietsema is the SVP of Brand Management, Marketing & Design for Sound United – portfolio company to leading global consumer audio brands Denon, Marantz, Boston Acoustics, Polk Audio, Definitive Technology, Classé, and HEOS. In this role, Joel is charged with leading all brand and business strategies, positioning development, global market planning, product strategy, and brand design development. Sietsema holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in Brand Strategy and Marketing.
Brian Møller, Vice President of Engineering - Roku
Brian Møller heads Roku’s whole home R&D efforts and is based in Aarhus Denmark. Brian joined Roku through the acquisition of Dynastrom, a start-up that specialised in wireless AV solutions to enable whole home experiences. Before Brian co-founded Dynastrom he was Senior Director R&D at Bang & Olufsen, where he developed various connected/multi-room entertainment products. Prior to that Brian held senior engineering roles at technology companies such as Motorola, Siemens and Bosch. Brian holds a master’s degree from Aalborg University, where he graduated in 1994.
Gerry Holman, European Sales Director - Linkplay
Gerry Holman is the European Sales Director for Linkplay. Linkplay is an approved system integrator for Amazon’s Alexa Voice Service and a solution provider for the emerging AI market. Prior to joining Linkplay Gerry held senior positions within the consumer electronics and IT industry, and has worked in this area for over 30 years.
Bryan Sutton, Director, Technical Sales - Microsoft
Bryan Sutton is currently the Director of Technical Sales for Americas & EMEA at Microsoft based out of the UK. In this role, he leads the technical sales team that drives solution design-ins on the Microsoft platform across the Americas " EMEA regions, delivering the innovation and development of new products & services with OEM partners, across the Consumer, Commercial, Education & IoT channels. Bryan has worked for 25 years in the IT delivery sector, starting out with UNIX systems, UNIX/Windows integration, spending a period at Intel in the hosting business and has now been at Microsoft in a variety of technical sales roles since 2000.
Andy Barnes, Executive IT Architect, Watson IoT - IBM
Andy is an Executive IT Architect in IBM’s Watson IoT practice and specialises in AI and digital concierges. He is responsible for leading engagements with clients to get them enabled and working with Watson Assistant Solutions to successfully drive AI into their businesses and out to their customers. With a focus on Machine Learning and Watson Technologies in the IBM Cloud, he works with clients and business partners to develop an ecosystem to develop architectures and solutions to solve real world business problems. Previously, he was a head architect in IBM’s Digital and Mobile CTO Group.
Dr Paul Neil, Vice President Product & Marketing - XMOS
Paul leads the product and go-to-market strategy for XMOS. He also leads XMOS strategic partnerships, which include Amazon Alexa Voice Services and Infineon. With over 27-years international experience in the semiconductor industry, Paul has extensive experience in start-up and scale-ups across the industry.
Stephen O'Reilly, Director - ie:music
Stephen O’Reilly is a director of London based management company ie:music and manages artists including Robbie Williams, Lily Allen and Passenger amongst others. ie:music was established in 1992 by two industry veterans, David Enthoven and Tim Clark. Ric Salmon, Partner & Director - ATC Management
Ric Salmon is a partner and director at ATC Management. Paul Keating, Co-Founder - Delta Live
Paul has been involved within the audio industry for over 30 years as a sound engineer, designer and business owner. In 1988, Paul co-founded Delta Sound. Over the years Paul has been responsible for hundreds of different productions throughout the UK, Europe, America and the Middle East and has established operations in London, Dubai & Qatar. Paul continues to be involved within the running and expansion of Delta. Paul continues to use his experience of the audio profession, together with an extensive understanding of production and technical disciplines to keep himself and Delta Sound firmly ahead in this ever changing and challenging market.
Jeff Rocha, Director of Product Management - L'Acoustics
As Director of Product Management and a member of the L-Acoustics Board of Directors, Jeff covers all aspects of product development, liaising with key stakeholders across geographies and functions to recommend and implement processes and systems that allow L-Acoustics to identify and address new business opportunities. This role encompasses market intelligence, including identification of key opportunities; developing the product portfolio and technology roadmaps in collaboration with R&D and the sales and marketing teams. Tony Ostrom, President - WiSA Association
Tony Ostrom is the President of WiSA (the Wireless Audio and Speaker Association). His 25-year career in the consumer electronics industry has been focused on product planning and development, consumer research, technology integration, go-to-market planning, marketing, training and sales. Prior to joining WiSA Tony was the Vice President of Product Development at Klipsch Group where he managed multiple categories including Wireless Home Theater, Wireless Distributed Audio, Bluetooth and Powered Audio Solutions. Prior to Klipsch, Tony played key roles in the global launches of Powermat Wireless Charging, as well as senior roles with the House of Marley.
Robert Wilson, MBE
Founder and now retired Chairman of Sound Technology Ltd, one of the largest and most successful independent musical instrument and professional audio distributors in the UK, Robert has a career in professional audio and musical instruments spanning 45+ years, working on both sides of the Atlantic and has worked on behalf of both the UK Music Industries Association for more than 35 years, as well as having been the only UK director of NAMM, the US musical instrument industry association.
Ivor Taylor, Co-Founder - Grand Central Recording Studios (GCRS)
Ivor has been part of the sound industry for the past 40 years including spells at Marshall, Virgin Records Manor House Studio & then inception of Allan & Heath. Ivor has provided audio support & technology to the most talented musical artists of a generation, including building a quadraphonic mixer for Pink Floyd’s legendary Dark Side of the Moon tour. In 1994, Ivor co-founded Grand Central Recording Studios and in 2014 they commissioned the first combined Dolby Atmos theatrical & Third order Ambisonics control room in the world. This studio includes 3D audio works in game engine VR, 360VR, interactive installations, Atmos film trailers and binaural radio.

With over 30 years of experience in the audio industry, Robert Morgan-Males became CEO of Audio-Technica Europe in April this year, having previously been responsible for marketing and sales across the EMEA division for the Japanese brand. For 56 years, Audio-Technica has retained the core philosophy of its founder, Hideo Matsushita, of “audio for all”, as the company aspires to provide solutions for every possible moment of interaction with sound, from recording music in the studio to listening on the go via Bluetooth headphones. Morgan-Males helped the company achieve significant growth and gains in market share, specifically in the vinyl turntable and consumer headphone categories, which has seen the EMEA division triple in turnover over the past five years.
Sam Inglis, Features Editor - Sound on Sound
Sam Inglis is a recording engineer, journalist, music writer and folk singer. After completing a PhD in the philosophy of science, he joined the staff of Sound On Sound, the world’s leading music technology magazine, where he is currently Features Editor. Sam is the author of Harvest (2003) and Teach Yourself Songwriting (2006), and his recording credits include Blue Rose Code, The Spooky Men’s Chorale and the Choir of Wells Cathedral. He has carried out in-depth tests on many products within the pro-audio sector, including headphones, microphones, audio interfaces, recording hardware and software.

With a degree in Sound Technology from Paul McCartney’s LIPA, Sarah has gone on to build her career in International Sales & Marketing with some of Music and Audio’s best known brands within EMEA, Americas and APAC. Having joined the East London music creation start-up ROLI over 4 years ago as Director of Sales, she has played an instrumental part in bringing the products to both the consumer and professional market and shaping the growth of the brand around the world.
Paul Firth, Head of Amazon Music - Amazon
Paul Firth is the Director of Amazon Music in the U.K. Paul has 20+ years’ experience in entertainment retail including time as Head of Music for Entertainment UK, and Head of European Buying at LOVEFiLM, as well as time in store management with MVC. He began his Amazon career in the physical music team, taking on the category leader role for physical music and DVD, before moving to digital music to oversee the launch of two Amazon Music streaming services: the first international role out of Prime Music which launched for Amazon Prime members in the UK in Jul 2015, and Amazon Music Unlimited which launched in the UK in Nov 2016.

Christian Harris, Head of Digital Entertainment - Three
Christian Harris is unusual in the world of telecoms having started his career in radio and television with Granada TV and then subsequently moved over to mobile content with Sonera Zed. Following this, Christian launched his own video business, Gorillabox, which sold in 2014 and then joined Deezer as UK MD. He is now Head of Digital Entertainment at Three, leading all content initiatives and owning the strategy for content going onto 5G.
