Futuresource Video Insights: Sweden
Sweden’s video entertainment market saw total spend increasing to SEK 15.8 billion in 2018, performing strongly with growth of 6% on 2017. Growth has been driven by digital services, mainly SVoD which saw spend increase by SEK 940 million, while theatrical and pay-TV markets remained largely unchanged from a year earlier. The digital transactional video market experienced good growth of consumer spend, whilst the physical market continues its quick decline.
